It's American Idol voting time -- and after Jermaine "Gentle Giant" Jones's shocking disqualification, there are only eleven contestants were left to perform to choose from tonight.

Jermaine Jones, dubbed the "gentle giant" on American Idol, might not be so gentle after all. It seems Jermaine has had a couple violence-related arrests in the past couple of years -- and producers have kicked him off the show.
According to the gossip site, AI producers discovered that Jermaine has lied about his shady criminal past. And that's not all. His story about being abandoned by his father is apparently a lie. They have a decent relationship!

In week one, the contestants are allowed to choose songs from any genre, so song choice is key.
