Booted Idol contestant Pia Toscano has landed a record deal faster than Ryan Seacrest could say "You've been eliminated."
US Magazine reports exclusively that Pia signed with Interscope Records -- the imprint run by Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine. According to the magazine's sources, Pia will rush to release an album while Idol fans are still buzzing about her elimination.
"Starting [Thursday] night after the show, Interscope told her they wanted her and first thing [Friday] morning Interscope brass started calling every top songwriter and producer in town to get an album together and rush release it," the source said.

I very much want Pia to release an album but I hope her producers don't rush it. It was absolutely OUTRAGEOUS that she was voted off American Idol. She was by far the BEST singer this season by a bazillion glory miles and she should be the WINNER!! However, she's going to be the WINNER big time because she has the voice and the grace to succeed in the very cut-throat music industry and I'll be supporting her all the way.
