Jermaine Jones, dubbed the "gentle giant" on American Idol, might not be so gentle after all. It seems Jermaine has had a couple violence-related arrests in the past couple of years -- and producers have kicked him off the show.
According to the gossip site, AI producers discovered that Jermaine has lied about his shady criminal past. And that's not all. His story about being abandoned by his father is apparently a lie. They have a decent relationship!

The guys gave it their all on Tuesday night, and now it's the ladies' turn to sing for your American Idol vote! Six girls will be eliminated from the competition in week one, so the pressure is on for:Haley Johnsen, Skylar Laine, Shannon Magrane, Jessica Sanchez, Chelsea Sorrell,Baylie Brown, Hollie Cavanagh, Hallie Day, Jennifer Hirsh, Elise Testone, Erika Van Pelt and Brielle Von Huge. In week one, the contestants are allowed to choose songs from any genre, so song choice is key.

American Idol Voting: Which Top 12 Girl Gets Your American Idol Vote?
Reed Grimm had the honor of kicking of American Idol season 12 on Tuesday night. The Casey-Abrams-like crooner started the show with a slowed-down version of "Moves Like Jagger."
Reed even showed off his skills on the drums for his first performance.
"This was a great way...to show America what they are dealing with with Reed Grimm," Jennifer Lopez said after his performance. "He is jazzy. He is musical. He has an amazing voice, and I think you showed that with that song."

Ten more finalists will find out if they will join the previously-announced contestants when the live shows finally begin next week. Wednesday night’s episode ended with a tearful cliffhanger. Mason Disick is about to have a little sister. Kourtney Kardashian has announced that she and beau Scott Disick are expecting a baby girl! The pregnant Kardashian sister tweeted the news on Wednesday. "It's a girl!," she wrote, linking to her new cover story on OK Magazine.
Momager Kris Jenner was also excited to share the news. "[Kourtney and Scott] are having a girl," she posted on her own Twitter page. Can't wait to go buy something pink! What a blessing!"
Judging from how adorable her big brother Mason is, the newest addition to Kardashian family will definitely be a well-dressed cutie. So when is Kourtney due? The official due date hasn't been announced, but she is expected to give birth in late June or early July.
